Yet Another Place for Sims

Sims, sims … and more sims!

A Library. An experienced Lothario, an experienced Lothario just like Don Lothario claimed to be, knew that one of the best places to go (other than a grocery store) to find a number of women, was the library.

And he wouldn’t be wrong about that.

There were young ones … (a.k.a. jailbait) …

Blond ones …

Bookish ones …

And the occasional plump one would show up as well. What Don loved about the plump ones – more to hold on to. Don sat in the library for a good solid hour watching, observing, plotting, but then he decided to go outside, get some fresh air.

Once he stepped out into the bright sunlight, his eyes slid across someone who looked a little lost, and a little bit foreign. He approached her, his characteristic smooth-walk taking him to her in a matter of seconds.

“Hello, my fine young lady. You look lost. Is there anything that I, a concerned citizen, can do to assist you in any way .. shape … or form?” His words came out soft and Don-Lothario-smooth.

Instead of answering him with a giggle and a head tilt, something that he experienced often, she ran away. That was not quite the effect he had been going for. Blinking in confusion, he rubbed his goatee. He couldn’t recall ever having had that happen to him before. Women didn’t usually run away from him. They usually ran towards him.

Not one to let a setback like that throw him, he scouted the area for any other women who might be interested in striking up a conversation with him. At one point, he came across a Mrs. Specter. While he chatted with her, he wondered why that name sounded familiar, but it was just a passing thought.

It was hard for him to think too deeply about things, especially when his roving eyes caught anything of the breathing female variety passing by.

Yes, he liked women in all forms, but there were some forms he liked better than others. Unfortunately, this fine specimen was in a hurry, and he’d hardly parted his lips to spew a greeting when she zipped past and continued down the sidewalk to parts unknown.

Feeling slighted, he felt a feeling of desperation descend upon him. He didn’t really know that he was feeling desperate since Don Lothario hadn’t ever felt desperate in his life (save for when the women had kidnapped him and stuffed him in that Strangetown device). It threw him off his game a little bit …

… a very little bit …

Okay … maybe it threw him off his game … a LOT.

It probably didn’t help that he got a bit too personal a bit too quickly. Perhaps it was the setting of the sun and his obvious lack of success that day that made him a bit desperate for a lady’s company.

REALLY desperate. He had come to expect that there were some things in his life that would come easy to him. His ability to pick up women had been ingrained into his brain from a very young age and he’d been good at it, even as a wet-behind-the-ears kid in elementary school. The teachers were charmed by him and the young girls wanted him to pull their pigtails.

He thought about these things over a dinner at a local cafe. Perhaps his issues that day had been due, mostly in part, to his sudden relocation. Perhaps some of his molecules were out of alignment or something. But then again … that was a bit too Curious Brother for him to think about for long. Perhaps a good night’s sleep would get him back in his A-game. With that thought, he finished his dinner and headed back to his farmhouse.

Tomorrow would be better. He was 99.9% certain of that.

Oh no, poor Don! If this was Sims 2, he’d be in aspiration failure from all the rejection!

    He feels awkward???

When I saw the girl run away, my first thought was that this was Bella, & she recognized him from *something* from her past, something uncomfortable, but couldn’t honestly remember what. I loved that the woman just ran away from him. LOL I was also afraid that he was going to hit on Ms. Specter! Great update, Ang!

Library scoping, eh? Gotta remember that… *snickers* D’oh! She ran away? *chortles* Guess she’s gonna be a challenge, eh? Wow, he’s meeting LOTS of women there.

Aww, I actually feel sorry for Don, getting rejected left and right like that. *comforts Don… but not so much that he gets the wrong idea*
